hehe. I've seen your bananodile on the front page before. I thought that it was very simple and really cute~! :)
Very nice
i'd say it's better than most (or maybe all) water color pieces ive done. I don't have the patience for that kind of thing haha. it kind of seems blotchy in some places, but it could just be the paper you're using. your teeth may be jacked up but you seem to have nice eyes. well, at least behind your paintbrush.
Actually, it only took me around 4 or 5 hours to paint. I used to use a BIG paint brush because yeah, I'd get really really lazy. Now I use the tinniest paint brush ever- and yeah. It tears up the paper. I try to smooth out the paint as best as I can, and for other areas I want it to be sharp.
A bit disproportionate
Either her head seems too big or her neck is a bit long. She needs shoulder muscles. Her body needs to be facing either left or right, it needs to be consistent. Her legs are a bit too long too. Also her shield goes from above her elbow to below her hand and the inside should be facing out. I might not be able to draw women well, but I can tell if something is proportionate or not. To see what I mean, I drew a few corrections on top of your picture and added notes.

The above picture will explain anything. Just tell me if you can't read or you don't understand some of it.
thanks for the pic, I took a look at the anatomy corrections and it does help me see where the week points are. That image though is very old it was done when SC II was out but I still have some problems with the anatomy I don't know why though lol I have been drawing humanoid characters since I was 4.
SO CLOSE
This is really nice and the technique you used was perfect. The only glaring flaw I see is the nose. I know that the technique that is solely used is crosshatching, but it just bothers me that it doesn't seem real enough to fit with the rest of the wolf. It needs that slightly bumpy texture that it's supposed to have, gah. I just can't stop looking at it, now that I noticed it.
To tell the truth, this was my first attempt at something so permanent(never used pens so extensively). So I was really unsure of myself. When it came to the nose, I knew I wasn't skilled enough to try anything too detailed. So I went with something simpler. But thanks anyways. ^^
